Using luxuriously soft alpaca fibre, freshly sourced from the very animals grazing nearby, you’ll learn the traditional craft of wet felting—a hands-on, sensory-rich process that blends warm water, soap, and natural movement to transform raw fibres into beautiful, textured fabric. Guided by an experienced artisan, Shannon -Farmer Brown, you’ll be encouraged to experiment with organic materials such as silks, raw wools, banana fibre and yarns to create your own one-of-a-kind felted artwork, decorative piece. No experience needed—just a love for nature, animals, and tactile creativity. As you work, you'll be serenaded by birdsong, breathe in fresh country air, and maybe even share a quiet moment with an alpaca or two as they wander by, inquisitive and calm.
