How to care for your Alpaca wares

Our hats, mittens, cowls and headbands are hand knitted and dyed in small batches. The best way to care for your heirlooms is to simply air them out, place them in a really cold space to freshen them. And in case of a stain, gently spot clean the area with a cloth and a soft soap(dawn).  We also suggest to place a sachet of lavender with your knitwear.  

Alpaca socks are extremely warm, soft to the skin, naturally thermoregulating and anti bacteria, which means they do not need to be wash every time you wear them.  But they can certainly be washed in cold water in  the washing machine and hang to dry. We suggest using a delicate bag to keep your socks together, its easier to remove them before the dryer. 

A great addition to any footwear, it keeps your feet climatized and dryer. With usage they will shift, you can wash them in cold water by hand and hang dry, then reshape them and slide them right back in your boots for many more months of comfort.
